Albeit in this vacuum world that â€Å"there is no fictional listener to Antoinette’s voice, no ‘you’, no ‘reader ’, no addressee to mediate between the nineteenth-century colonial ‘I’ and the twentieth-century postcolonial reader†, quite the contrary, â€Å"the omission of a ‘you’ and of a context—a reason for speaking—may increase the illusion of Antoinette as a reliable, truthful witness, informing the reader of ‘the other side’ of Bronte’s version† (Neck-Yoder 185), and then exactly reflect the impact of epistemic violence on Antoinette. Through binary constructions of the two protagonists, Antoinette and Rochester, and showing the affliction and oppression of Antoinette, Jean Rhys actually treats Rochester also as a victim of epistemic violence with narrating the entire half part of the novel. On the other hand, in Rochester’s situation, he is forced to buy an heiress in colonies by the patriarchal inheritance law of entailment because he is not the firstborn. Then to consider his behavior to Antoinette, Spivak reveals that â€Å"so intimate a thing as personal and human identity might be determined by the politics of imperialism† (240). She meanwhile points out that Rhys utilizes à ¢â‚¬Å"the thematics of Oedipus†, which is â€Å"the normative male subject† and â€Å"divided between the female and the male protagonist, feminism and a critique of imperialism become complicit† (241) to link Rochester and his patrimony. Go to a Professional Sports Game Off Campus If you live in a big city and have never been to a professional sports game, now is the time to go! After all, how silly would you feel if you had to confess, for years and years after you graduate, that even though you lived in, say, Boston for 4 years, you never saw a  Red Sox  game? Go to a Cultural Event in Town Even if you live in what you consider to be the smallest of small towns, theres a culture there that cant be replaced -- and that youll probably miss once youre gone. Go to a poetry slam, a performance, a county fair or anything else being put on in town and absorb all you can before you move somewhere new. 19. Go to a Museum in Town You never know what history your college town has to offer. Challenge yourself to learn a little more before you graduate by hitting a museum in town. It could be an art museum, a history museum, or even something that speaks to the unique identity of your city. Even better: Use your  student discount  for admission. 20.  Volunteer Off Campus Even if you dont interact with people off campus all that much, the community that surrounds your school has helped make your experience possible. Virtue is a word that both used to use in their philosophic belief, but, as I said before, the actions were different. I think that each person is up-brought differently and for that I believe that all humans have different point of views. My view is Platonist. I am a person that believes and does not have to see it with my own eyes. I do think its important to be educated from childhood but I believe in second chances.
